Inspired by the minimals

Earlier this month I had the pleasure to join Hanke Arkenbout and Holly Marder on the Inspire Sessions they co-organized at Holly's a-ma-zing apartment in Delft. It's a gathering with several photographers to talk about work, life, inspiration, and also just to make friends.

One of many important things I took away from was finding the inspiration from simple and the minimals. Everyday life can be beautiful. A coffee mug can be beautiful. Linings can be beautiful. And light and texture are just the simplest and biggest gifts we are lucky to have as photographers.

P.S. Meeting Hanke in person was so wonderful! She is a talented film photographer I admire whose work, beliefs and personality are simply amazing. I'll be sharing a headshot of me taken by Hanke on my instagram so be sure to check it ;)

And how stylish is Holly's apartment? I'm obsessed! She mixes different styles and makes them all cohesive and harmonious. I'm already starting to think about re-styling options for my apartment... top of the to-do list after this wedding season.
