Loveshoot at The Appian Way, Rome
This cute couple Weiwei and Tony approached me for a loveshoot during my short stay in Rome last month. They were not after the typical Roman-Holiday-Audrey-Hepburn-on-Spanish-Stairs kinda loveshoot, but what interested them more was the Ancient Appian Way, located in the southeast of Rome, with a lot of history and symbolized eternity.
The Appian Way was one of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic. It connected Rome to Brindisi, Apulia, in southeast Italy. Its importance is indicated by its common name: "The Appian way is the queen of the long roads."
The Roman weather was still hot in October, the sun was burning, and the walk up the hill was quite a climb. But we had so much fun shooting and laughing together and I really love how the coupleshoot in Rome turned out. It is their own version of Roman Holiday.
